試験のPC化
| 2004年の5月より試験がPC化されます。（延期されました）AICPAとNASBAがジョイントで構成している Computerization
Implementation Committee(CIC)が、 2001年3月5日付で、ＣＰＡ試験のコンピュータ化についてのBriefing
Paperを公表しています。決定ではありませんが、この方針で行われると思います。原本が一番正確です。私の解釈やホームページを参考にして書きます。原本を最重要視して下さい。責任は負えません。 ①試験科目 Auditing & Attestation 今のAuditingと同じ？ This section covers knowledge of auditing procedures, generally accepted auditing standards, and other standards related to attest engagements, and the skills needed to apply that knowledge in those engagements.（原本） Financial Accounting & Reporting 今のFARE非営利法人・政府会計 This section covers knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles for business enterprises, not-for-profit organizations, and governmental entities, and the skills needed to apply that knowledge.（原本） Regulation 税法、会計士の倫理規程・職業的責任、商法 Tax+LPR？ This section covers knowledge of federal taxation, ethics, professional and legal responsibilities, and business law; and the skills needed to apply that knowledge.（原本） Business Environment & Concepts 実務で必要な会計と商法の知識？ This section covers knowledge of general business environment and business concepts that candidates need to know in order to understand the underlying business reasons for and accounting implications of business transactions, and the skills needed to apply that knowledge.（原本） ＊新設科目で、問題の４０％は新形式となる。 ＊ビジネスアドバイザーとして、CPAの役割を果たすために必要な入門レベルの分析、情報技術、経済の知識が出題される。 ②試験時間 4科目合計10時間から14時間で検討中。結論はまだ。 4科目同じ試験時間にはならない。 ③受験料 ４科目の受験料は、$320から$460の間で検討中 ＊受験料が決定してない理由 CPA試験のコンピュータ化後も試験問題はAICPAが作成することに変更はありませんが、試験運営については各州のボードがこれを全て行うことが、技術的にもコスト的にも困難になります。そこでAICPA/NASBAは、コンピュータ試験専門の運営会社であるPrometric社を起用することを決定したわけですが、実際の試験運営プロセスのうちどこまでを同社に委託するべきか、が問題となります。Prometric社へ委託する業務の範囲によって金額が変わってきます。アメリカのことなので、全州統一とは考えられません。結論がいつ出るのかも分かりません。 ④試験日 なぜか1年を3ヵ月ごと、4つの区分に分けます。 １区間の3ヶ月のうち、2ヶ月間が受験可能な時期。 1つの区分で1回受験可能。年間4回まで受験可能。 ＊初回受験者は全科目受験をせんとあかんみたいです。 USCPAの目次へ |
